What's included in your pack?
Included in your Annual pack is the TAPP Eco Pro Home water filter that will deliver happiness and pure water for 3 months per filter. In the pack there are 4 filters which last in total for 12 months. In the Starter Pack you have 1 filter.

This is the most sustainable water filter available in Malta- sustainable because we reduce material wastage and packaging to an absolute minimum.
The filter has guaranteed compatibility with all round screw taps with a diameter between 16 and 24 mm and is extremely easy to install (if we managed to install it in minutes anyone can!)
What substances does are filtered?
Lime, chlorine (responsible for bad taste), microplastics, sand, rust and sediment, lead, mercury, salmonella, legionella, pesticides, herbicides, drug residues, nitrates and other substances> 1-2 μm (microns) keeping minerals healthy.
Why does it generate less waste?
Say goodbye to up to 1,000 plastic bottles a year used for drinking water and enjoy peace of mind that you will never run out of water or have to have to dispose of all those plastic bottles.
How long does a filter cartridge last?
Each filter cartridge is normally changed every 3 months and delivers up to 800 Litres of filtered water. Its is important to change filters every 3 months on time in order to keep the most efficient filtration of your water supply.
How does the filter cartridge work?
EcoPro filter cartridge incorporates an activated carbon filtration system with its own anti-limescale technology. Filtration occurs in 5 stages:
Stage 1. Polypropylene wrap This envelops the carbon block and filters out larger microorganisms, sediment, rust, scale particles, and other impurities. It also protects the carbon block from being contaminated by human hands when changing it.
Stage 2: Activated Carbon Adsorption Organic Activated Carbon removes chlorine, chlorine by-products (VOC, THM, HAAS, etc.), taste, odor, pesticides, herbicides, PFAS, and more than 80 contaminants. It also reduces heavy metals like lead, copper, mercury, and more.
Stage 3: Carbon Block Microfiltration The carbon block is highly compressed to prevent particles larger than 1 to 2 microns from passing through. This prevents, for example, all microplastics, suspended particles and most bacteria from passing through the filter. It also prevents most of the pipe corrosion particles and bacteria from passing through.
Stage 4: Inhibition of lime and heavy metals This is a proprietary formula used within the carbon block that breaks down the mineral to prevent limescale build-up and further reduce heavy metals. A refill of EcoPro Compact reduces limescale by 80% for up to 3 months.
Stage 5: Strainer Mesh Filters hair, sand, dirt, and other impurities from pipes.
Will it fit my mixer in the kitchen?
EcoPro fits most mixers in Malta after removing the aerator in the mixer. If you mixer has threads on the outside you can fix the EcoPro directly and with threads on the inside it is easily fixed by using the adapter supplied. We also have a range of adapters for special situations, but mostly these are unnecessary. We can also supply assistance with fitting if you need it.
How do I know when to change filter cartridges?
Using the MYTAPP app on your iPhone or Android device you will receive reminders, you will also get emails from this store and you can use the dial on the top of the EcoPro water filter to set a reminder.
